The time is finally upon us, Hamptons Season is here! I wait for this weekend all year long. It’s my favorite time of the year, and I couldn’t be more excited. My fiancé and I are renting a house in Southhampton for the entire summer. This is a new experience for us. The previous 3 years we rented in Westhampton, and only for June and July. We loved Westhampton for it’s beachy vibe and the fact that we were basically on the beach but Westhampton is super sleepy, and far away from other parts of the Hamptons (more importantly Tracy Anderson.) This summer we wanted to try something new and I am pumped! I will be spending most of summer out there with my furry babies, working at Tracy Anderson and living in my bikini. Jim, my fiancé will come out on weekends and take his 2-week vacation out there in August. We normally travel in August, but since we are planning our wedding we decided to stay put for the summer. As much as I wish it was going to be 80 degrees and sunny, Memorial Day weekend is always a little cooler out east. I will still be packing my swimsuit, but unfortunately, I don’t think I will be able to live in it YET. I’m really making an effort to lighten up my wardrobe.  I tend to buy black a lot, just because I know it will get great use in other seasons.  But this summer is all about whites and lights for me. I started packing and wanted to share some essentials that I am bringing for my weekend out east.

  1. Summer Bag: I was in desperate need of a white bag.  I originally had my eye on a cross body bag, but when I stumbled across this Chanel bag on The Real Real, I had to have it.  AIN”T NO SHAME IN SECOND HAND GAME.  I like nice things, and if I can get them for a fraction of the cost I will. I love her.  She’s such a clean, classic bag, and a perfect size for a bag lady like myself.
  2. Boyfriend Jeans: To me, The Hamptons have a super laid-back vibe. We spend most of our time hanging out at our house or beach, working out, or going to early dinners in town.  I love being comfortable and chic at the same time and I think boyfriend jeans do that for me.  My favorite pair at the moment are Citizens of Humanity in the Liya cut.  They are high waisted and beyond comfortable. Pair those with cute flats and a white sweater, and you’re good to go.
  3. Classic Flats:  Nothing says classic flats more to me than a pair of Chanel Ballet Slippers or Espadrilles. They go with practically anything, and are so great for walking around town.  I love heels just as much as any girl, but I barely ever where them out east.  I prefer flats over sandals any day; I think they offer a more put together look.
  4. Workout Clothing: BIGGEST DUH EVER.  I am not scheduled to work at Tracy Anderson this weekend, but you better believe I will be there taking class.  It’s summer people, working out should be a part of your daily life!!!!! Not only for the physical benefits, but for the mental benefits as well.  I get most of my workout clothing from Bandier, Carbon38, or Tracy Anderson Studios.
  5. Sun Hat: I use to be the girl who would put baby oil on to get a good tan.  I would fry my face and body like wrinkles weren’t a thing.  Now that I’ve matured and learned how damaging the sun can be I’ve become smarter about being in the sun.  I always wear sun block, and I cover my face 90% of the time by wearing a hat.  Even though the sun won’t feel strong this weekend, I will still make sure to wear a super cute sun hat to protect my face.  Who knew a cute sun hat could make you chic and responsible at the same time!
  6. Kopari: My new favorite summer product line.  All the products are made with 100% organic coconut oil. YUMMMMYYYY. This product line is amazing! I’m so obsessed.  I’m going to do an in-depth post about it soon, but check them out in the meantime.  Our skin is the biggest organ on our body, we should be aware of what we put on it. Plus, who doesn’t want to be a well-moisturized human and smell like a coconut at the same time.
